Native American Hand Painted Deer Hide: Thunder Buffalo Skull

Hand painted by local Sicangu Lakota artist Evans Flammond Sr., he uses the deer hide like a canvas.

Evans paints the hide with acrylic paint, he freehand paints the designs. He hangs the painted hide from a wooden dowel that is painted and decorated with leather dangles that feature glass and metal beads.

The piece is signed by the artist.
