Native American Hand Made Turtle Shell Rattle: Red, Periwinkle, & Blue

Native American artist J.J. Little Wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota Nation, hand crafts a rattle with a turtle shell.

J.J. adds a wooden handle that’s been wrapped with leather and glass beads. He adds a leather cinch around the edge to help hold the shell together and keep the beads inside of the rattle.
