Native American Hand Made Turtle Shell Rattle: Blue, Yellow, Green

Local Lakota Mnicoujou Nation member, J.J. Little Wounded, hand crafts a hand rattle created with a turtle shell.

J.J. adds a wooden handle that’s been wrapped with leather and glass beads. He adds a leather cinch around the edge to help hold the shell together and keep the beads inside of the rattle.
