Carved by local Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota, he paints the excitement of the hunt with friends and another successful season.

Jim uses wood for the shape of the horse, he paints and stains the horse. Jim uses real horse hair for the forelock, mane and tail, he uses glass beads for the eyes and rawhide for the ears.

Jim finishes the piece with two bead wrapped imitation eagle feathers.

The piece is signed by the artist.
