Print: Cheyenne Breaks

A group of Native American tipis are standing on the vast landscape in the giclée print, "Cheyenne Breaks" by Richard DuBois. The time is sunset, and the deep orange and red clouds are swirling above and beyond the encampment. Through his use of scale, and by using light color washes over some of the teepees, the artist captures how the big skies of the Plains almost overshadow and envelop the inhabitants of the land.
