Native American Hand Painted Shield: ThunderBird

Local Native American artist Jim Little wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota, hand paints the image of a ThunderBird entering the physical world bringing rain and thunder.

Jim paints the shield with acrylic paint and finishes the piece with imitation feathers and glass beads. The piece is signed by the artist.
