This tanned natural colored hide or leather is a light creamy color, similar to a lightly smoked hide, and is sueded on both sides. Needles easily pass through the hide (or "nick" it if you're using lazy stitch). As with all things by Mother Nature, there will be imperfections, scars and places where the color is lighter or darker.

The hides are large (14-20 square feet).
I bought one several years ago while traveling for a training. Now that I’m retired, I’ve been doing a lot of beading. I ordered another one, and it’s just as great in quality as the one I purchased before. I’ll definitely be ordering more soon! By the way, the store is full of beautiful artwork!
