This large-scale portrait of the Hunkpapa Lakota warrior and holy man, Sitting Bull (Thatháŋka Íyotake), was painted by Native American artist, Del Iron Cloud, also of the Hunkpapa Lakota tribe. Del used a famous old photo as a reference for his acrylic painting on canvas.
