Incredibly handy are a couple of words that can be used to describe this small wooden container with wooden lid.
The lid slides off and on but has some slight tension so the lid will remain securely closed. A place to keep all of your beading needles while traveling or at home. Made of wood so be careful not to get wet or the lid may warp.

I do love this needle case. It is, however, about 3/16" shorter than a full 2-1/2" in length. I note this only because if you have a needle 2-1/4" in length, it will not fit. And I would suggest painting the lid a bright color or attaching it to the body; I misplaced mine and it took a bit of searching to find(it was in plain sight).
