Venetian Bittersweet 2 Opaque Glass Bead: Size 11/0

Size 11 bittersweet glass seed bead with an opaque finish.

What a beautiful old color! At first it reads as red, then maybe red-orange and then resolves into a dark coral. The "bittersweet" moniker came from the Crayola Crayon color, which is what was used to sort out the Italian beads initially. This is the darker and smaller of the two that we carry marked as 11/0. This would be a great color for a horse on a period-correct bag.
