POUR ONE for the DEVIL by Theodore C. Van Alst, Jr - a review

This is a dandy novella that my friend has written. It’s a perfect book to read on the plane if a trip is needed. That is if you’re not a people watcher. I liked how Theodore gave of himself in the character of Dr. Van Vierlans. If you have read any of Van Alst other books, you will see Chicago as well as the Van Alst dark humor. You might catch yourself chuckle a time or two. “POUR ONE for the DEVIL” could be a Twilight Zone episode, with the old mansion and the antebellum mistress with her servants, who live alone on an island. Having the main character being Native American gives this book a different twist. I myself enjoyed “POUR ONE for the DEVIL.
