Paper Sculpture: Dragonfly

Patty Eckman has created a dragonfly out of her handmade, archival paper.

“Dragonfly,” a limited edition cast paper sculpture, by Patty Eckman, shows the insect balanced on a twig that is developing its leaves. The rough texture of the branch reinforces the delicate modeling of the dragonfly. Set inside an exquisite acrylic case, the sculpture’s high detail make this one of the artist’s most visually striking pieces.
