The Thunderbird is a legend amongst many cultures, usually associated with the elements. Rain and lightning are essential for life and the Thunderbird brought both.

The hand painted cover was made by Mnicoujou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded. He is a skilled artist and uses his paint brush and beadwork to create the perfect image of the Thunderbird.
