Original Ledger Art: Plenty Horses

"Plenty Horses" is a large-scale, original ledger drawing by Lakota artist, Donald F. Montileaux. The image is rendered with highly saturated layers of Prisma-color pencils depicting Native American tipis, geometric designs and of course a multitude of Indian ponies. Two sheets of antique ledger paper still attached at the center, taken from a large, old, 1906 ledger book is the surface the image is drawn on.
