Local quilt maker Faye Charging Thunder, Oglala Lakota Nation member, creates her star using shades of purple on a white background. 

Faye uses cotton material, the quilt can be machine washed using a mild detergent and a gentle cycle. Hang to dry and then fluff on the lowest setting of your dryer.
