Local Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Cheyenne River Sioux Nation of South Dakota, creates this piece using deer rawhide and glass beads.

Jim cuts and shapes the hand, sews the edges together and paints her designs with acrylic paint. He decorates the tips of the fingers with glass and metal beads, metal cones and imitation feathers.
