Local baby quilt maker Delilah McPherson, Cheyenne River Sioux Nation, hand sews and machine finishes. She only uses cotton material, the quilt can be machine washed.

Delilah says to use a gentle cycle with mild detergent, hang to dry and then shake the quilt. You can fluff on the lowest setting of your dryer.
