Description

The drum body was constructed by Non-Native American drum maker Wayne Manthey.

Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota, hand paints Wayne’s drum with ink and acrylic paint. He paints the image of two Chief’s performing a dance dressed in full regalia, their headdresses and lances denote the many coups and brave deeds by each Chief. Jim decorated the drum with long leather thongs.
