Local Sicangu Lakota artist Evans Flammond Sr. displays his free hand drawing with ink and acrylic paint. His style is bold and colorful and has many elements featured like and eagle, the sun and horse tracks.

Evans paints his designs on a commercially tanned deer hide. He hangs the hide from a decorated wooden dowel with decorated leather hanger.
