This particular shield is hand crafted by Mnicoujou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded.  He uses acrylic paints and free hands the buffalo warrior design.  He also accents the shield with a hand made buffalo charm equipped with beadwork, an imitation elk tooth, buffalo hair, and badger claws for the horns.  He finishes off the shield with accents of mini hawk bells, dyed green horse hair, and imitation golden eagle feathers.  The piece is signed by Jim.
