Hand painted by Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, it’s one of his signature pieces with the Universe in mind. It’s undeniable that there is a vastness that surrounds us, we look to the heavens and envision a path to where our ancestors exist.

Mike uses a commercially cleaned Bison/Buffalo skull, it is made ready to hang. He paints the designs with his own special blend of paint. He finishes the decoration of the skull with beaded bands at the base of each unpolished horn cap, around the eyes and finishes imitation eagle feathers with bead wrapped shafts.
