Local Mnicoujou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded creates a small horse rattle with quillwork eyes and a striking red with stars rawhide body.

Jim paints the rawhide with acrylic paint and attaches to a decorated wooden handle. He finishes the decoration of the piece imitation eagle feathers, glass beads and metal cones.
