Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota, hand paints his balanced designed on a rawhide pouch. The sides of the pouch are sewn together with leather, he adds long fringe to the sides.

The front and back of the pouch are painted with acrylic paint. The flap is secured closed with leather ties with metal cones and horse hair tufts. The actual useable are of the pouch measures 11 inches tall by 14 inches wide.
