Oglala Lakota Nation member Brenda DuBray hand beads this beautiful tipi bag with gorgeous designs and small details that make the bag special.
Brenda puts her glass beadwork on commercially tanned deer hides, she squares up the bag so it is as deep as it is wide, plenty of room to carry those important items. She adds a beaded strap for added comfort while using the bag.
The flap closure is weighted down with metal spots and beaded rosettes. It can be tied closed with the long leather thongs wrapped around the abalone shells.
