Local beadwork artist Brenda DuBray, Oglala Lakota Nation member, uses glass beads on commercially tanned deer leather. She is an expert with geometric designs, there are little patterns everywhere.

Brenda decorates the bag with shells, metal cones, metal beads, metal spots and small bone discs. She attaches long decorated fringe at the bottom of the bag. The back is decorated with metal spots, Brenda adds a cinch tie at the top of the bag to help secure your personal items, the actual useable area of the bag measures 26 inches long by 6 inches wide.
