Native American artist Leonard Good Bear (Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe) hand makes this lapel pin with black, periwinkle blue, red, orange, yellow and white beads to create his star design.  He also uses commercially tanned leather for the back of the pin and a brooch style clasp. Leonard has also signed the pin.
