Hand Drum w Decorated Beater: Thunder Bird

The hand drum was crafted by non-Native American crafts person Wayne Manthey. Wayne uses wood for the frame and deer rawhide.

The hand drum was decorated by Native American artist Thomas Ridley, Ute Mountain Ute Nation of Colorado. Thomas paints the drum with acrylic paint and then attaches a decorated drum beater. Thomas has signed the artwork.
