Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo 2016!

This incredible event, the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo, is the second largest in the state of South Dakota, it is only rivaled by the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The Stock Show has been around for 57 years, it started at the Central States Fairgrounds and has grown to incorporate the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center and a good chunk of Rapid City. All are welcome!

Cattle Shows and Sale
Buffalo Sale
World's Smallest Rodeo
Ranch Horse Competition
PRCA Rodeo

and more! My personal favorite is the petting barn, so many adorable baby animals and it gives the kids an opportunity to interact with farm animals, and one of the most popular events is Bull Riding.

This family friendly event is sure to have something for everyone and once your done roaming the rodeo grounds come to downtown Rapid City for some special shopping, Prairie Edge and the Sioux Trading Post offer a unique shopping experience so you can take home something special and we are surrounded by boutiques, bookstores and some of the best dining experiences.

It's a nice break from the winter blues and a great opportunity to see what's happening in the Ranch and Farm industries.
