Each bag is decorated with a band of beadwork, long fringe along the bottom edge, and a few beads on the leather drawstring around the top of the bag.

These beaded leather bags by Native American artist Kevin D. Fast Horse, Oglala Lakota Nation member, are recreations of early American Indian Medicine Bags, traditionally used for holding dried medicinal herbs. These healing herbs were said to be used "to reduce the discomforts of everyday life".

Each bag is signed by the artist.

Beaded medicine bag

Excellent size. materials and sufficient beads. Good colors. Very reasonable cost. Also ships within a box for protection and includes a bio of the artist.
