Kathy Sigle
Kathy Sigle enjoys her work. Starting early, she has always had an interest in art. At the age of six she entered her first art contest and won first place. Art has been a priority in her life ever since.
Kathy’s early works were in colored pencil. She was introduced to watercolor by her mother, Marion Toillion, who is also an artist. They had many enjoyable years working side by side while they lived in Pierre, South Dakota. In 1989, Kathy and her husband, Jim, moved to Spearfish, South Dakota.
Specializing in western and wildlife art, Kathy participates in many juried art shows and exhibitions. She has been the artist in residence several times at Custer State Park, South Dakota. Currently her work is exhibited in galleries throughout the Midwest.
“Painting is such a joy for me. I hope others share in that joy when they view my work.”
