Donald F. Montileaux is a ledger artist who is enrolled in the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Using colored pencil and ink he draws images relevant to his Native American culture on antique ledger paper. "Day's End," is a beautiful image of two women approaching their tipis as evening just begins to fade to night. The drawing is done on an old tax levy ledger from the Stanley County, SD Treasurer's Office dated 1894.
