"Winter Landscape," is an acrylic painting on canvas by Del Iron Cloud, a Native American artist of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. In the stillness of the scene he displays striking contrasts of light and dark and cold and warmth: the dark forest with the rays of light coming through the canopy of trees and the cool, monochromatic color palette with the warmth of the color of the horse and blanket and the fire within the tipi.
