Hand made by Lakota artist Aryanna “Fred” Little Wounded, Cheyenne River Sioux Nation member. She uses deer rawhide cut into the shape of a hand and attaches to a decorated wooden handle.

Aryanna paints her designs with acrylic paint, uses dyed porcupine quills, glass and metal beads and finishes with imitation eagle feathers.
