Oglala Lakota artist Brenda DuBray creates this medium sized cradleboard using a combination of beads creating a geometric design and commercially tanned deer leather for the shape of the cradle where it’s stuffed with red felt material.  Sturdy stained pine wood is used as the base.  Brenda accents the cradleboard with a mini beaded turtle amulet as well as a pair of tiny beaded moccasins. She finishes off the cradleboard with brass spots, cones, leather fringe, and small hawk bells.
