Oglala Lakota quilter Faye Charging Thunder creates this particular full size star quilt using both hand and machine techniques.  She creates the design with an array of different shades of blue, gray, and white cotton material.  The quilt can be machine washed, but dry cleaning is still recommended to keep the colors from fading.
