Faye Charging Thunder, Oglala Lakota Nation, uses cotton material to create her signature piece “Four Directions.” 

Faye machine and hand sews her quilts. The quilt can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, hang to dry and then give it a good shake.
