Hand a machine sewn by local Lakota quilt maker Peggy Cook, Cheyenne River Sioux Nation, she uses soft pastel colors for this baby star quilt.

Peggy uses cotton material, the quilt can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Hang to dry, if you want to fluff the quilt use the lowest setting on your dryer and then shake the quilt.
