Hand made by local Lakota seamstress Delilah McPherson, Cheyenne River Sioux Nation member.

Delilah likes to hand sew her baby star quilts. She was first taught, by her grandmother about the art of quilt making when she was around 15 years old. She said grandma had her cut and sew blocks and points together and then grandma would finish the construction.

Delilah says you can machine wash her quilts, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Hang to dry and if you need to fluff use the lowest setting on your dryer for a few minutes and then give it a good shake out.
