Created by local Lakota quilt maker Delilah McPherson, Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, she likes to hand stitch her quilts from cotton material.

Delilah learned to make quilts from her grandmother and each was sewn by hand. Later on in life, Delilah revived the art when she needed quilts for her own children.

Her quilts can be machine washed on gentle cycle only, use mild detergent and then hang to dry. Give the quilt a shake and if you need to fluff use the lowest setting on your dryer.
