This particular tipi wrap is hand made by Jim Little Wounded (Mnicoujou Lakota).  He uses commercially tanned leather as for the base shape of the design as well as acrylic paints to create the warriors motif.  Jim finishes the tipi wrap with leather fringe, beads, and dyed horse hair.
