This is a beautiful example of ancient iconic imagery, the Thunderbird provides the much needed elements like rain and wind.

Jim paints the soft cover with acrylic paint, he adds a cluster of leather strips with glass beads and imitation feathers. There is a tiny bundle added with sage on the inside. The tips of the wings are adorned with imitation eagle feathers.

Jim finishes the shield with a beaded buffalo amulet. The piece is signed by the artist.
