Local Mnicoujou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded paints the spirit world with Elk tracks, follow the Elk and your life can be healthy, prosperous, or powerful. 

Jim adds imitation eagle feathers that are wrapped with beadwork, the center of the shield features a few leather dangles with glass beads, metal beads, and a tiny bundle of sage.

He finishes the shield with a beaded disc and beaded Elk amulet. The piece is signed by the artist.
