Native American artist Evans Flammond Sr., Sicangu Lakota, hand paints this deer hide with the image of a group of Buffalo Runners, these horses were instrumental in keeping up with buffalo herds to help make the hunt more successful.

Evans paints with acrylic paint on a commercially tanned deer hide. He hangs the hide from a decorated stick for easier displaying. This piece is signed by the artist.
