Hand painted by Evans Flammond Sr., Sicangu Lakota Oyate Nation member, who uses acrylic paint and free style draws all of his images. The scene is a serene image of a lodge under a red sun with eagles flying above. Evans added his signature singing horses and hills designs.

Evans hangs his painted deer hide from a decorated stick that features leather dangles with glass and metal beads. The piece is signed by the artist.
