Hand painted by local Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded, Mnicoujou Lakota. Jim uses acrylic paint to depict the image of a Buffalo Hunt, the results will provide food, hides, bone for tools and many other benefits for this hunter.

Jim decorates the buffalo skull with imitation eagle feathers, colored leather fringe, metal and glass beads and a beaded buffalo amulet. He leaves the horn covers natural and covers the base of each horn with wool cloth and leather.
