Oglala Lakota artist Evans Flammond Sr., uses acrylic paints and free hand creates the image onto the commercially tanned buffalo robe where a brightly colored “encampment” scene of tipis, buffalo skulls, tracks, and war ponies.  Evans also finishes off the piece by signing it.
