Native American artist Mike McLeod, Bad River Band Chippewa, hand paints this skull with black and white acrylic paint. Mike leaves the horns covers unfinished.

He decorates the skull with leather cutout stars in black or white. Mike finishes the decoration of this piece with decorated imitation eagle feathers and glass beaded bracelets at the base of each horn.
