Oglala Lakota Nation member Brenda DuBray uses glass beads to represent the excitement of a horse raid, it’s dangerous.

Brenda beads onto soft deer leather, she creates the shape of the bag and adds a weighted flap closure. The flap can be tied down with the decorated leather ties. The actual bag measures 10 1/2 inches tall by 13 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches deep. She adds a long hand beaded shoulder strap and then finishes the bag with more decorated leather thongs.
