This clever design makes the purse useable as a purse with strap or remove the strap and it’s a clutch bag. Oglala Lakota Nation member Brenda DuBray creates this beautifully beaded purse with the user in mind, the closure is zippered closed and has a decorated zipper pull. The bag area measures 10 inches wide by 10 inches tall.

Brenda uses a square of Pendleton blanket material to finish the back of the bag. The rest of the bag is finished with metal beads, cones, and spots, bone beads, and abalone shells. The shoulder strap can be easily unhooked from the bag.
