Oglala Lakota Nation member Kevin Fast Horse Sr., hand beads a larger medicine bag meant to carry precious items and keep them safe.

Kevin uses glass beads on commercially tanned deer hide. The useable bag area measures 11 inches tall by 5 1/2 wide by 1/2 inch deep. Kevin finishes the bag with a decorated thong for easier closing and hanging, and long fringe at the bottom.

The piece is signed by the artist.
